Kenny Perry has two Memorial wins to his credit. How much would a third mean? Plenty, since the 47-year-old would vault up the Ryder Cup standings with a victory this Sunday.

Lorena Ochoa, who withdrew from the Ginn Tribute at RiverTowne Country Club Tuesday when she learned her uncle was serious ill, said Thursday on her Web site that Pedro Ochoa, brother of her father Javier, had died at the age of 73 in Guadalajara, Mexico.
